Rich Girl Hair Transformation! Hair Routine for Voluminous Hair

Have you ever seen photos of wealthy, luxurious women, and just wanted to learn all their secrets to their beautiful, voluminous, healthy-looking hair? That was me! As someone with short hair, though, I could never truly grasp how to make my hair look half as good as the beautiful women we see on Pinterest and Instagram. But, after a little bit of practice (and a lot of perseverance) I finally found the hair tools and products that work WONDERS for creating the voluminous, rich-looking hair I’ve always dreamt of having.

So, today I’m going to share with you the hair care and hair tools I use to have consistently beautiful hair!

Hair Products/Hair Care

I know, I know…a lot of people would automatically tell me to get on a hair-washing schedule. But listen…your girl’s got oily hair galore. And when hair gets oily, it gets smelly.

And rule number one of the rich girl, luxury lifestyle: don’t be smelly. Period.

So, I am definitely a wash-my-hair-everyday kind of gal. I don’t currently have a shampoo that I am completely in love with, but I’ll list a couple of brands that I have my eyes on right now:

Function of Beauty

I am really interested in trying the Function of Beauty hair care line. I love the idea of having customized shampoo and conditioner that gives my hair precisely what it needs to be healthy.

Prose Hair Care

Another hair care brand I’ve noticed is Prose. This one is slightly more expensive than Function of Beauty, but this brand also seems to have a wider variety of products to offer. I’d like to try both at some point in time in the near future. Which ones do you recommend?

OGX Silky Blowout Hairspray

Now this stuff…I am obsessed. As part of my regular hair routine, I blow dry my hair in order to create volume. The OGX Silky Blowout hairspray doesn’t only protect my hair from heat, but it also helps give my hair the light, airy, feathery volume that just screams “rich girl hair”. Not to mention…it smells amazing.

Hair Tools

These are the tools that I use on a regular, almost daily, basis. For me, I don’t want to spend more than 10 minutes on my hair at a time, especially in the morning. These hair tools have made doing my hair super easy, and I’ve been able to get the same results consistently.

Funtin Hair Dryer

I give myself a blowout about 5 out of 7 days a week. I love this hair dryer because it is lightweight, and the head is shorter. When the head of a hair dryer gets too long, I always end up hitting myself in the head. So, to remedy that, I got this dryer! For $40, this hair dryer works great!

L’Ange Le Ceramique Flat Iron

I love curled hair, but it is one thing that I’ve never been able to master and that takes way too long to do. Straightening my hair is so much faster, and I am able to get the smoothed, controlled look I want my hair to have! I also love the fact that straightening my hair gives it more of a feathery, airy texture than a heavy, chunky feeling.

L’Ange Le Volume Brush Dryer

This is a recent find of mine that I absolutely adore! If I don’t get a chance to blow dry my hair at night after taking my shower, then I’ll dampen my hair in the morning and use the brush dryer. I love the volume that blow drying my hair gives me, so when I don’t get a chance to do it, using the brush dryer is an excellent way to liven my hair in the morning!
